Thanks to generous grants from the Seychelles Environment Trust Fund (made to Seychelles Islands Foundation) and from the Africa-Oxford Initiative I will be able to return to the Seychelles in January and February 2019 to pursue my research on tropicbirds. I will return to Aldabra to continue the project started last year to investigate the foraging ecology of white-tailed and red-tailed tropicbirds. I will also spend a few weeks on Aride conducting similar research to allow for comparison between the two sites.
